The list below shows planned overnight closures at the Interstate 5 (I-5)/Genesee Avenue Interchange. Closures will occur intermittently between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists are advised to plan their travel and avoid the area, if possible. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Please note construction schedules are subject to change.
Overnight Closures for the Week of August 24, 2015
Monday, August 24
– Intermittent lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5.
Monday – Thursday, August 24-27
– Intermittent lane closures on eastbound and westbound Genesee Avenue.
Thursday, August 27
– Northbound off-ramp to Sorrento Valley Road.
– Southbound on-ramp from Sorrento Valley Road.
Project limits include Science Center Drive to the main entrance at Scripps Hospital on Genesee Avenue,
and Sorrento Valley Road to Voigt Drive on I-5.
