The list below shows planned overnight closures at the Interstate 5 (I-5)/Genesee Avenue Interchange. Closures will occur intermittently between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists are advised to plan their travel and avoid the area, if possible. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Please note construction schedules are subject to change.
Overnight Closures
Monday – Thursday, August 17 – 20, and Sunday, August 23
– Intermittent lane closures on eastbound and westbound Genesee Avenue.
Wednesday – Thursday, August 19 – 20
– Intermittent lane closures on southbound I-5.
Project limits include Science Center Drive to the main entrance at Scripps Hospital on Genesee Avenue,
and Sorrento Valley Road to Voigt Drive on I-5.
