The MCAS Miramar Fire Department will be conducting a series of prescribed burns along fuel breaks in East Miramar during daytime hours from Wednesday, May 27 – Friday, May 30.
These prescribed burns are in support of the Station’s annual vegetation management program to reduce wildfire risk. Smoke will be visible from freeway corridors and to local communities during this time. As with all prescribed burns, Go/No Go will be dependent on weather conditions that day.
